Vedra Girls Softball will once again be hosting the 2011 Florida State Championships. The
tournament will be held at Davis Park, July 6-10.

Fall Pitching Clinics
Every Monday
Evening thru the end of the
Rec-Ball season
|
Each season,
PVGS sponsors a pitching clinic each Monday night thru the last
week of the season. The
clinic is for girls of all pitching skill levels, and is held
at the Davis Park Softball Complex.
-
6:00 to
7:00 - 8U and 10U
-
7:00 to
8:00 - 12U and older
If your
daughter has any desire to pitch now or in the future, this is a
good opportunity for the two of you to come out and learn the
proper techniques.
Here is what
each girl needs to be able to participate in the clinic:
-
A parent
to catch
-
A glove
for both the pitcher and catcher (parent)
-
A bucket
for the parent/catchers to sit on while catching
-
About a
half dozen balls - Put your daughter's initials on each ball
-
11"
softballs for 8U-10U
-
12"
softballs for 12U and older
-
Something
that can be used to make a temporary home plate. A
towel works. Many bring plastic or rubber plates that
can be acquired from Dick's, Sports Authority or
Play-It-Again Sports.
