Volunteer Positions: Head Coach

  • Coaches are required to run practices at least twice a week before the season starts, and once a week during the season.

  • Attend games or arrange for the assistant coach to take over in his/her absence.

  • Communicate scheduling, games and practices with parents. (May delegate this role to someone else!)

  • Be a positive and willing role model for the girls.
  Assistant Coach
  • Supports the head coach at practices and games and fills in during their absence.
  • Pretty much backs up the coach.
  Team Parent
  • Help the coach communicate with parents.
  • Arrange snack schedules.
  Concession Volunteer
  • Work in the concession stand during home games.
  • Working in the concession stand during your daughter's games, or during other PVGS games at Davis Park.
