Sponsors

Each season, a player registration fee (PRF) is charged to offset the many expenses incurred to facilitate a girls softball program.  Uniforms, umpires, field lights, Babe Ruth, PVAA and County participation fees, insurance, balls and equipment are just some of the many expenses.  However, the PRF does not cover them all.  So each season, we reach out to the community to help defray the costs.

While raising monies is our primary sponsorship objective, we also look to increase community awareness for our girls and sponsors.  Our various sponsor programs are illustrated below.  In return for your financial support, PVGS will proudly display your corporate name in a variety of ways:

• Name on Jersey - Some team sponsors will have their company name and/or logo printed on the back of each player's jersey.

• Web Site Ad Space - You will have ad space on the home page of our Web site.  In addition to your corporate logo, you will be able to give a brief description of your company and services.  A link to your Web site is also provided.  This presentation will be displayed through the beginning of the following season.

• Team Banner - Each team will carry a team banner.  This season the banner will be a full color photo of your sponsored team along with the corporate presentation made on the Web site.  The team name will also be proudly displayed along with the first name of the coaches and players.  The banner is displayed on the dugout fence during all games and practices.

• Association Sponsor Board - An 8'x10' board will be used to display the names of all our sponsors.  This will be on display during the entire season at Davis Park.

Ponte Vedra Girls Softball is played under the auspices of the Ponte Vedra/Palm Valley Athletic Association, a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization.  As such, any contribution made by an individual will receive tax benefits.  Any corporation who sponsors and receives any of the benefits listed above will be able to write off the contribution as a business advertising expense.

• Team Sponsors

  • Banner ($400) - Web Site Ad Space, Team Banner, Association Sponsor Board, and receipt of the team banner at the end of the season.

  • Jersey ($500) - Name on Jersey, Web Site Ad Space, Team Banner, and Association Sponsor Board.  Jersey sponsors must register on or before Wednesday, September 16, 2009 to facilitate the printing of the jersey.

• Association Sponsors

  Monies raised at these levels are used to make capital purchases such as batting cages, storage sheds, equipment bags, pitching machines, catchers equipment, etc.

  • Single ($500) - Web Site Ad Space and corporate ID at the top of the Association Sponsor Board

  • Double ($1000) - Web Site Ad Space and corporate ID at the top of the Association Sponsor Board

  • Triple ($1500) - Web Site Ad Space and corporate ID at the top of the Association Sponsor Board

  • Home Run ($2500) - Web Site Ad Space and corporate ID at the top of the Association Sponsor Board

  • Grand Slam (Above $2500) - Web Site Ad Space and corporate ID at the top of the Association Sponsor Board
